Sicily is a complex geological territory, so it offers the chance to rock climb on different types of rocks in natural spots immerged in beautiful natural environments.

The possibility to be rock climbing in Modica and Ragusa adds value to an area of great interest for it’s delicious foods, UNESCO recognized architectures, and naturalistic beauties.

.

Details

The area between Modica and Ragusa still offers a multitude of lime stone crags, though here the majority of climbing is on slabs and small holes.

Thanks to a multitude of rout setters, there are often new sectors. So rock climbing in Modica and Ragusa with a professional Alpine Guide constantly updated on new sectors is definitely the best way to approach this area.

Get ready to taste an exquisite chocolate bar with cinnamon or vanilla flavor, or an “impanata” with broccoli, and the typical sharp and grey colored rock of this area.
